The goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap thereby making Film Companion the most preferred platform for cinephiles. Responsibilities • Build and execute social media strategy through content research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action • Optimize current pages within each platform to increase the visibility • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information • Collaborate with other departments (editorial, video production, etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions • Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within social media spaces Requirements • Proven passion for cinema • 1-2 years related working experience in social media or in a similar position • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge • Basic knowledge of web design, ORM, SEO and SEM • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability • Hunger to continuously learn, improve and stay ahead of the curve when it comes to social media • Fluency in English If cinema and digital media gets you going, send in your application, mail a copy of your resume and a 300 word write-up on How Films use Digital Media for Promotional Activities to email@example.com
