Baromas  (month after month; year after year or forever), a film in Hindi is based on the Sahitya Academy Award winning novel by the same name written by Dr. Sadanand Deshmukh.

The film is a family drama set in rural India which depicts the plight of farmers and rural educated youth in our villages owing to drought and unemployment. It tells the story of two brothers, Eknath and Madhukar, who are both educated but jobless. They both take the system head-on in entirely contrasting ways. One takes to crime while the other takes a strong political stand to weed out the power brokers.
