The candidates will be responsible for:
Producing a broad range of high-quality video across topics and geographies.
Applying a strong editorial lens to conceptualize video stories that fit within Scroll's editorial scope.
Working with a small team of producers, writers and video editors, often under time-restricted conditions, to develop video stories.
A passion for current affairs
A degree in journalism, communications, or mass media
5 years of editorial experience with reputable news organization
Strong eye for quality video, and the ability to conceptualize video stories
Impeccable writing capabilities, including strong editing, grammar, and proofreading skills
Basic camera and editing skills
