Details: Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image (MAMI) is a public trust that organizes the MAMI Year-Round Programme and the Mumbai Film Festival. In the last 18 years MAMI has consistently shaped the cinematic landscape of India by showcasing the best of world cinema for Indian audiences and steering them toward landmark Indian films. Last year MAMI launched the Academy's Year-Round Programme and hosts weekly screenings, workshops and conversation sessions for film lovers in the country. MAMI is looking for people with a positive and enthusiastic approach who have excellent communication skills, have a knack and passion for words, are quick, alert, observant, and are excited about making noise about one of the best film festivals in this country. Graphic design skills are an additional bonus. Suitable candidates will be Graduate or post-graduate in Media, Communication, Journalism, Liberal Arts, Literature, etc. with a 2 to 5 years of working experience with social media, including strategising, content creation and execution. Details: MAMI is looking for a responsible candidate for executing the entire programming section(s) that come under their review for the 19th Jio MAMI with Star Mumbai Film Festival to be held from the 12 - 18 October 2017. A suitable candidate will be a self-motivated person who will be able to work in a high-pressure environment with proficiency in Hindi and English. Tasks include but not limited to research, coordinating information related to the films for the festival's catalogue, liaising with filmmakers, sales agents and companies, maintaining database and scheduling.
